Love what you do
I love photography because I get to meet so many wonderful people! It is especially a treat to see families year after year for sessions! Photographing you with your favorite people is joy! Like a lot of moms (me included) I know that family picture day has not traditionally been a family favorite, however I like to change that narrative! Photo sessions can be quick and fun! Time and time again I hear after the session that it was "actually fun" from spouses and the kids want to do it again because of the fun they had. I try to start each session with a quick, few traditional "look at the camera" photos, but I quickly like to move on to prompted candid portraits of you loving each other, or just having fun with each other. The connection and love we have with our favorite people is the most valuable thing we have in life. I enjoy getting to capture these moments.

What should I wear?
My number one suggestion for kids is to have them wear something they are comfortable in! Their genuine smiles and playfulness will show if they are comfy! In the greenery of the PNW in Spring and Summer, colors like blue, berries, teal, pinks, and soft green tones and neutrals work really well. As the leaves start changing, neutrals work really well. At the beaches in the PNW neutral earth tones and pastels work great. Of course I am here to help if you would like other suggestions for your specific session.
When will I receive my photos?
Your session photos are generally delivered within a few weeks depending on your session type. You will be emailed a link to a custom gallery.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! When you receive your gallery, you will be able to order high-quality prints through your custom gallery shop, however you will also receive the print release so you can print wherever you choose.
What if we need to reschedule because of weather?
Ahhh, the great PNW weather! I start watching weather forecasts a day before the session. Depending on what things look like we reschedule then or within a few hours of the session. We just find a new time that works for everyone.
What locations do you suggest?
Location is always a fun topic with clients! In the PNW there are so many options from beautiful beaches and parks to fun urban areas! Some clients love having their photos taken in their home to document their every day life. Other clients choose a coffee shop where they met or some other nostalgic location.
